Technical Support Lead — ActionFirst Forecasting

The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) is seeking a Technical Support Officer for the WISER ActionFirstTM Project. This role involves providing technical leadership across national and regional forecasting activities and ensuring effective action-based early warning systems are in place.

The successful candidate should have a degree in meteorology or related fields and at least seven years of experience in forecasting. Proficiency in English is essential, with knowledge of other WMO languages being an advantage.

This position is focused on enhancing forecasting capabilities in the region and contributing to multi-country initiatives.
