Role Description

Summary
 : The Test Engineer is responsible for supporting Samtec HDR (High Data Rate) Cable Assembly Work Center for all Cable Electrical Testing processes.

Functions:
Design Test Tooling assemblies for Electrical Test First Time Build of cable assemblies.
Review the design of printed circuit boards and fixtures for Electrical Test of First Time Build of HDR cable product and feedback findings to designer.
Create Process Documentation for Electrical Test processes.
Create and qualify Test Programs for Electrical Test.
Cooperate with SIG ATG to assemble, debug, qualify new Test Systems.
Support production floor for troubleshooting Low and High-Speed Test systems.
Perform failure analysis of Electrical Test failed product and determine root cause with support from Global Samtec teams.
Cooperate with global Samtec teams to maintain Samtec HDR product serialization system.
