Role Description

Hands-on role supporting complex marine and engineering projects! 

 We're looking for reliable and experienced Trade Assistants for a full-time temporary role with a respected engineering services provider in Devonport. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical, varied work in a team environment. 

The Role:

 You'll support trades teams on ship and shore-based maintenance and repair tasks. Your day could involve surface prep, coatings application, confined space monitoring, general labouring, and equipment handling. 

Key Responsibilities:

Hot Work, Confined Space, and Working at Height Sentry duties
Surface prep (grinding, sanding, chipping, blasting)
Painting/coatings application
Assisting with basic welding and fabrication tasks
Using hand and power tools
Operating plant and equipment (if trained/licensed)
General cleaning and site support tasks
