Trainee Field Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and setup of field equipment (GNSS/GPS, total stations, laser scanners, drones)
• Support senior technicians with maintenance, repairs, and calibration
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• Participate in on-site visits to client locations (construction sites, mines, etc.)
• Assist with equipment testing and preparation
• Provide basic user support and guidance to clients (under supervision)
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service records

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile)

• Basic understanding of:
  • Electronics or engineering principles
  • Surveying or mapping equipment
• Interest in working with technology and field equipment
• Willingness to learn technical systems quickly
