Role Description

Job Purpose and Impact
Transportation Specialist is a key role for Agriculture & Trading India, responsible for planning, coordinating, and improving the movement of Inventory through road and/or railcar managing transportation activities. Ensure efficient, safe, cost-effective, and compliant movement of commodity. Analyze transportation needs, coordinate with carriers and stakeholders, monitor performance, and implement process improvements.
Key Accountabilities
Onboard and manage transportation service providers, carriers, and vendors.
Ensure compliance with transportation laws, regulations, and safety standards.
Plan and coordinate transportation operations and schedules in co-ordination with commercial team.
Monitor shipments, deliveries, and transportation performance. Address transportation issues and resolve delays or service issues.
