A well-established contract furniture manufacturer based in Durham is looking for two Upholsterers to join their skilled workshop team. The company specialises in the design and production of bespoke contract seating and chairs for the hospitality, commercial and corporate sectors every piece is crafted to order. This is hands-on work combining traditional upholstery skills with modern materials and finishes. What the role involves: Upholstering standard and bespoke chairs, sofas, booths and banquette seating to precise client specifications. Cutting, sewing and fitting fabrics, leathers and synthetic coverings to a high standard. Applying foams, padding, webbing, springs and other internal components.
