Role Description
Job Title: VMware Cloud Foundation Platform Automation Engineer
Location: Remote (occasional travel to Bristol - once per quarter)
Remuneration: £750.0 - £800.0 per day
Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract, 6 months
Responsibilities:
Lead the automation of a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) platform build in a greenfield environment, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
Establish API-driven automation frameworks for VCF components to enhance operational efficiency.
Automate the creation of VCF workload domains (Prod, Non-Prod, DMZ, Mgmt) and NSX segments aligned with VLANs.
Implement robust network segmentation and isolation to uphold the separation of operational and corporate networks.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps-driven workflows for streamlined processes.
Build and maintain VM provisioning pipelines, including golden images, network attachments, and baseline security policies.
