Weld Coordinator

Job overview

The Weld Coordinator facilitates all production in the cell, staging raw materials and parts for two to four welders to maximize weld time, and ensures smooth workflow in accordance with the production schedule. The coordinator also inspects products during and after the production process to ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Move raw material and parts to and from welders, leak check technicians, braiders, and wrappers
• Arrange at least one job prepared for each welder to start when finished with the current job
• Work with welders to determine proper sequence of assembly/welding for each IO
• Identify potential problems and errors with BOMs or IOs and communicate with Zone Leader or Production Supervisor to ensu...
