**Job Description**

This role involves performing production welding in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment, using sub-arc equipment and related tools to fabricate steel components according to detailed drawings and work orders. You will work independently at your own station, operate overhead cranes, and contribute to a strong safety-focused, team-oriented culture while supporting fabrication and grinding tasks as needed.

**Responsibilities**

+ Receive and interpret detailed drawings and work orders to understand job specifications and requirements.
+ Set up and organize an individual welding station, including preparing machines, tools, and materials for each job.
+ Operate an overhead crane safely to move and position steel products and materials at the workstation.
+ Set up material on welding tables and ensure proper alignment, fit-up, and clamping prior to welding.
