Responsibilities:Execute moderately complex welding operations to join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable material such as stainless steel. Set up and operate manual and semi-automatic (robotic) welding equipment including MIG welding. Read and interpret moderately complex blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and job orders to determine appropriate welding processes. Ensure welding is completed to the required standards and specifications. Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects and ensure conformity with specifications. Deburr pieces to create appropriate welding services when necessary. Move materials, parts, equipment and other items using material handling equipment (ie. Lifts, hoists, hand trucks. etc) ensuring safety practices are diligently followed. Robotic Welders: Operate and program robotic welding equipment. Set up robotic welding systems for production runs.
